Leadership Academy VI – November 5th

LA6-Button-IIBrothers, Registration for the Leadership Academy is now open!

We are excited for this year’s event and I think each and everyone one of you attending will find it immensely worth your time.  This event will begin on Friday evening November 4th, with a Table Lodge. Our ladies have been invited to attend a Dinner Theater at the same time.  Our plan is to end the evening with a Toast/Roast of some of the great leaders of our Fraternity here in Kansas as well.

Saturday morning November 5th begins promptly at 8:30am and is filled with courses designed, not only to provide that light we all desire, but equip each of you as Lodge Leaders for success.  Each person attending, the Friday/Saturday events who registers on time, will be receiving a commemorative toasting canter in addition to the latest edition of Macoy’s Worshipful Masters’ Assistant for those who register for Saturday only.

This book has been redesigned and edited to fit 21st century Lodges by none other than our own Past Grand Master and noted author Michael Halleran.  PGM Halleran will also be on hand to discuss the book and its application and will be available to sign books that day as well.

HL33-20160714-FloorW:. Bro. Ross hopes you are as excited as he is to inaugurate the brand new lodge floor at the Stated Meeting on Thursday, September 1st.  The evening will begin at 1800 hours with a meal prepared by Jobs Daughters. Come and enjoy the good vittles and good fellowship.   The meeting begins at 1900 hours and will open on the Entered Apprentice degree. As you’ll see below, there are lots of “big hitters” coming and plenty of other activities on the Trestle Board.  This meeting will be the best time to come and appreciate a beautifully refinished floor.

Second September Stated Meeting will take place on Thursday, September 15, 2016.  This is the last preparation meeting before the Grand Master makes his Official Visit.
At the First October Stated Meeting on October 6, 2016, we will be hosting M:. W:. Lyn E. Beyer, Grand Master, for his official visit.  Since Hancock Lodge #311 is a jewel in this Grand Jurisdiction, we’ll see a lot of Grand Lodge officers in the Grand Master’s entourage.  In addition to being a ‘grand’ event to watch, we’ll need many brothers to help escort the Grand Lodge officers into the lodge.  Definitely plan to be there.  The Grand Master will present 25, 50 and 60 year service awards. There will be a dinner ($14 per person).  Registration information will be on the web site soon.
Second October Stated Meeting on October 20, 2016 will feature a visit from our District Deputy Grand Master, R:. W:. Michael Kupsch.
